Excitingly, UNV is recruiting for Evening Event Managers! We are looking for friendly and confident people with exceptional people skills to deliver great customer service during the evenings of our weddings and events.

– Zero hours contract

– A typical shift is 3pm to 1am

The Role

Support the wedding planner in delivering a successful event.
Be the main point of contact for the couple during the evening of the wedding. Oversee the evening of an event, taking responsibility for the overall execution.
Manage a team of staff in the evening, ensuring an excellent level of service for our guests.
Assist the wedding planner before guests are seated in the dining area.
Checking that any guests with dietary requirements are sat in the correct seat.
Consistently update the kitchen team regarding timings.
‘Call’ during food service – coordinating staff in the kitchen, ensuring the correct dishes are brought out.
Schedule breaks for event staff
Implement UNV standards throughout the event.
Ensure smooth and timely service of evening food.
Oversee the cleardown of the event. Ensure all of the couples belongings are packed down neatly and put in the correct place. Check that all suppliers belongings are ready to collect the following day.
Keep the venue clean and tidy, ensuring that the venue is reset and ready for any setups or events the next day.
Complete any required handover paperwork and upload this to our Newsfeed ‘Deputy’

Experience

Experience leading a team
Experience in event coordination
Experience in providing excellent customer service in a luxury setting
Experience with food service and food handling
