Full Job Description
We are offering an opportunity to join our Unique Norfolk Venues team. In every aspect of our service we are passionate about high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service. We strive to provide unforgettable wedding venues for our couples and their guests for their very special occasion. You will be part of a team responsible for maintaining these high standards, ensuring everything is in place and all accommodation and buildings are perfect prior to their arrival.
Hourly pay rate: £12 per hour
Contract type: Zero hours contract.
– Submit your availability to work, with the flexibility to select shifts
– A variety of shift times are available. An example of a typical shift would be 10am to 3pm.
The Role
- Cleaning and arranging guest rooms
- Changing bedding and linen
- Stocking and maintaining an inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Dusting furniture or fixtures and polishing them
- Cleaning showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops and sinks
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets, doormats and rugs
- Reporting breakages, damages and safety issues for repairs
Experience
- Previous work experience as a cleaner is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of COSHH is desirable
- Ability to recognise potentially hazardous situations/materials and respond accordingly
Skills and Qualities
- Strong attention to detail
- Interpersonal skills, over the phone, via email and in person
- Personable and outgoing
- Confident when selling a luxury product
- Strong timekeeping skills
- Fast learner, able to implement changes quickly
