Sedgeford Hall is an elegant Grade II listed house, reputed to be one of the county’s finest examples of the Queen Anne period. This privately owned Hall is in a peaceful and secluded setting in a beautiful North Norfolk Valley amidst 1,200 acres of glorious parkland, woods and farmland. The beautiful beaches of the North Norfolk Coast along with its quaint villages and great places to dine are just a short drive away. With its tranquil and romantic setting it is an ideal wedding venue to celebrate your special day.

  • Sedgeford Hall is licensed to hold civil ceremonies for around 30 guests inside The Hall’s beautiful dining or drawing rooms
  • Couples can also get married in the grounds of Sedgeford Hall in the stunning and romantic Roman Garden, in the beautiful and natural Walled Garden or at a location of your choice in the grounds


  • The Roman Garden is a romantic setting, perfect for photos in the temple or under the vine-covered pergola
  • Tree lined driveway with views over the parkland surrounding Sedgeford Hall
  • The peaceful and tranquil walled garden with a picturesque stream and an abundance of roses could host the marquee of your choice or hold your arrival drinks and canapés
  • For weddings of up to 150 guests, the North Lawn is a lovely location to host your marquee
  • The delightful and colourful gardens around The South Lawn and Theatre create marvellous photo opportunities for the wedding couples
  • Acres of peaceful and natural parkland to the rear of The Hall which could host a variety of marquees of up to 300 guests
  • Ample car parking


  • At Sedgeford Hall there is accommodation for 28 guests
  • Sedgeford Hall is split into 3 sections that all interconnect – The Main Hall, The Theatre and The West Wing
  • Included within the venue fee is The Main Hall and The Theatre Accommodation sleeping 14 in total, exclusive use of The Hall is an option as The West Wing can be added onto your booking subject to availability and pricing
  • Included within the hire of the venue is use of the accommodation and grounds for 3 nights (weekend rate – check in Friday and check out Monday, nightly extensions can be booked subject to availability
  • All sections of the house are self-catering and provide the perfect retreat to extend your wedding celebrations with your friends and family

The Main Hall

  • Consists of 4 stunning bedrooms sleeping 8
  • The pretty blue and gold double with en-suite shower room)
  • The butterfly twin room with dual aspect views over the parkland
  • The impressive mahogany-panelled four poster bedroom with spacious dressing room
  • The newly refurbished bridal suite loft apartment, complete with TV snug area and en-suite shower room with breath-taking views across The Sedgeford Hall Estate
  • Also there is the large drawing room – a great sociable space, the bright and airy conservatory, the dramatic black and gold dining room and the extensive kitchen complete with wonderful round table, seating area and AGA
  • The kitchen leads onto The South Lawn and the tranquil Roman Garden

The Theatre

  • Charming cottage adjoining The Hall with access through The Main Hall kitchen, or can be a private part of the house with a separate entrance
  • Sleeping 6 guests in 3 bedrooms
  • Beautifully decorated main bedroom boasts a spacious bathroom, walk in shower and double basins, and adjoining twin bedroom
  • Upstairs is a second double bedroom with en-suite shower room with lovely views over the parkland
  • The kitchen is adjacent to the light and airy dining room, also with views of the gardens
  • Two heated dog kennels are also available for use if required

The West Wing

  • This forms the back half of The Main Hall, with a large enclosed garden, decking area and seating overlooking beautiful parkland
  • Sleeping 14 guests in 7 bedrooms
  • Downstairs consists of a family kitchen with AGA and table seating 14 guests, 3 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 double)
  • Upstairs you will find beautifully decorated bedrooms with lovely views, 1 double and 3 twins, 2 of which are en-suite whilst 2 share a bathroom


  • Our own in house catering team headed up by executive chef Keith McDowell
  • A choice of standard menus or the ability to create a bespoke menu tailored to your wishes for your big day
  • An excellent wine list and alternative beverage selection for all elements of your celebration
