The bank holiday weekend in August saw Sherree and Mark get wed at The Great Barn at Manor Mews. With beautiful weather forecast it looked set to be a super weekend and with lots of outside activites planned for guests the weather cooperated for once.

The wedding party began to arrive and take their seats and by 2pm the barn was full of excitement. Mark waited nervously at the altar for Sherree’s arrival, not that he had any reason to be for Sherree couldn’t wait to walk down the aisle! Wooden hearts were suspended from the ceiling down the aisle, and bunting lined the roof space – it was a rustic wonderland.

Amelia and Sienna’s arrival down the aisle was the cue that Sherree had arrived and was ready to get married! After a beautiful ceremony, guests lined up on the patio, as the new Mr and Mrs Matless danced under a blanket of confetti. Hay bale seating, garden games and Edd Crafer the Magician entertained the guests during the drinks reception.

The wedding breakfast was served and went down a treat, particularly the beautiful Naked Cake from Little A’s Cakery with layers of Lemon, Raspberry and White Chocolate, Victoria Sponge and the stand out favourite Salted Caramel. The speeches were definitely an event we will remember for a long time – the best man speech saw Mark up in the dock – with the groomsmen as the jury!

Bacon Rolls + Chips and Fresh Crepes were devoured in record time, whilst guests danced away all evening. A sparkler send off for Sherree and Mark finished the night is style!

A fantastic wedding, deservedly so for a wonderful couple who love for each other was evident in every aspect of the day. Thank you Wendy at Imagine Wedding Photography for the wonderful photographs below.
