Sedgeford Hall opened their gates to the lovely Emily and Callum on September 5th 2015. The sun was shining from sunrise through to sunset and it was a beautiful day, perfect for two people so clearly in love.

Preparations began in earnest on the Thursday, with Rudd’s Marquee’s arriving at The Estate to erect a marquee on The North Lawn nestled to the right of The Hall. Friday came round in a flash and Emily, Callum, their families and families arrived to set up the decorations in the marquee and check into their accommodation.

The marquee was filled with pastel colours, gentle pinks and autumnal greens. Jam jars filled with flowers perched on top of wooden stumps in the centre of every table. With candle filled jam jars scattered around the room. Lanterns hung in the trees outside the marquee and drum tables provided a place for guests to perch outside during the evening sunset. Their table plan was constructed of wooden pallets adorned with plant pots and table lists planted within. Guests were provided with a survival kit as their favour to make it through the event – a great idea!

Saturday morning rolled around and it was time for the bridal preparations, Emily looked flawless, her bridesmaids beautiful and Callum alongside his groomsmen looked very smart in their suits. Guests took their seats for a 1pm ceremony in the floral Walled Garden at Sedgeford Hall. Emily walked down the aisle to Zoe the Harpist playing, meeting Callum who was waiting patiently at the altar under the pergola.

The ceremony was stunning and it was clear to see how in love Emily and Callum were after they were pronounced man and wife, they walked back down the aisle whilst being totally covered in confetti.

It was then time for the guests to flow through The Main Hall and then congregate in the South Lawn and The Roman Garden for a glass of Prosecco. Guests were also treated an ice cream from the fantastic Ice Cream bike provided by Tricycle Temptations.

At 3:30 it was time for guests to take their seats in the marquee ready for the Hog Roast – it went down extremely well and a few guests were up for seconds rather quickly! Following this was Emily and Callums delicious cake by Simply Scrumptious Cakes. After some wonderful speeches before the main course it was time for the best man’s speech after dessert and it was hilarious!

DJ Nath from New Level Entertainment then kicked off the celebrations for the evening and it was a fantastic evening with everyone dancing their socks off until the final whistle! Emily and Callum even dragged all of the staff onto the dance floor for a brief boogie! It was such a fun wedding, perfectly fitting for such a lovely couple.
