In a wedding season that flew by, it was soon July and time for Manor Mews – The Great Barn to open it’s doors to Sapphire and Tim and their wonderful guests for their wedding.
Friday was a day full of decorating the blank canvas of The Great Barn into a stunning relaxed and stylish setting. With a neutral colour scheme, pictures strung around the barn reminding everyone of brilliant memories in times gone by, beautiful flowers by Bridget’s flowers, birdcage centrepieces and tea lights in jam jars all of which created a lovely atmosphere.
Sapphire and her friends then checked into the accommodation at Manor Mews to relax ready for the big day ahead and it was soon Saturday morning and wedding preparations were in full swing. Sapphire and Tim’s guests were transported via red double decker bus from Bus and Us Ltd and taken to Sapphire’s Local Church in Shouldham. Sapphire looked stunning and left Manor Mews with her bridesmaids who wore a beautiful shade of blue. After the ceremony in was time for a few photographs and then back to The Great Barn for arrival drinks of Bellini’s and canapés.
At 4pm it was time for everyone to take their seats ready for the wedding breakfast, speeches followed the main course and guests were laughing the calories away – before topping them up with Glazed Lemon Tart with Raspberry Sorbet – Yum.
It was soon 7pm and time for the evening guests to arrive, with the cake cutting of the spectacular cake from Kirsty at Celebration by Mother Krusty’s Cakes. Lemon, Victoria Sponge and Chocolate layers were enjoyed alongside Bacon Rolls and Chips when it was time for the evening food. The first dance was an enchanting moment with Christina Perry’s Thousand Years being played by The B Sides who kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the evening until the night had to come to a finish at midnight.
What a day it was for Sapphire and Tim’s big day – now officially Mr and Mrs Aldham, we wish you all the best for what we know will be a fun filled future!
A massive thank you too Craig Jacob Photography who provided these amazing photographs and was a pleasure to work with!
