One of the most popular weekends of the wedding season is always the August Bank Holiday and this year we welcomed the wonderful Jonny and Tarne to Oxnead Hall. Their English Country Wedding was a beautiful and timeless affair spent with their nearest and dearest for the entire weekend in Oxnead Hall’s luxury accommodation.

Their day began at their local Church in Swardeston where guests witnessed them say their vows and emerge as Mr and Mrs Cogman. It was then onto Oxnead where guests were greeted in the Maze Garden with Pimms & Corona, and of course some Prosecco – a wedding needs bubbles! Accompanied by some all time classic canapés of Mini Jacket Potatoes, Beef and Yorkshire Pudding and cocktail sausages which went down a treat with the guests.

After sneaking away from some photographs in the grounds, exploring the water gardens and grabbing a few moments to take in the fact they were officially married it was time to move to The Great Barn for the wedding breakfast. The barn was adorned with bunting, hessian, candles and wonderful flowers from Ivy Floral Events.

Starters were followed by the eagerly awaited speeches where laughter barrelled through the Barn and smiles grew on everyone’s faces. Before we knew it, the evening guests were beginning to arrive the elegant cake from Copland Family Bakers was being sliced!
The Midnight Soul Band were ready to start the evening off with Jonny and Tarne’s first dance and then kept the dance floor filled all night!

A massive thank you to Emma of Emma Chapman Photography for being a pleasure to work with and providing us with these fantastic images!
