Saturday 07th May 2016 saw The Great Barn host the wonderful wedding of Tom & Ana, in one of the first few weddings of the manic 2016 season. In a day that had been eagerly awaited by all involved, it was a beautiful celebration of Ana and Tom’s fantastic connection as a couple.

A grand vintage affair was produced in The Great Barn, with hessian table runners, vintage filled jug centrepieces provided by the fantastic ladies at Swaffham and Fakenham Florist’s and bunting filling the ceiling. Tea light filled jam jars created a romantic atmosphere alongside the handmade heart table confetti and sweet treats as favours keeping everyone energetic throughout the day!

The wedding day arrived and Ana met Tom at the altar in Snettisham Church, following on from a beautiful ceremony the newlywed Mr and Mrs Mitchell arrived back at Manor Mews in a beautiful Campervan provided by VW Camper4weddings to enjoy glasses of Prosecco and a selection of delicious canapés;
• Mini baked potatoes with cheddar, sour cream and chive
• Confit duck rillettes
• Smoked salmon and cream cheese
• Roast chicken bois boudran

The sunshine allowed for photographs and guests to mingle before heading into The Great Barn for speeches. Laughter and tears followed, and wedding speech nerves dispelled so all could enjoy the meal;
• Free Range Pan Roasted Chicken Breast, Sage and Onion Pomme Puree, Charred Baby Leeks, Crispy Skin and Jus Gras
• Chocolate Truffle Torte and Clotted Cream

There was then a bit of chill out time before 100 extra guests arrived to dance the night away with the bride and groom. The cake was cut and DJ Nathan of New Level Entertainment created the perfect party atmosphere.

All the best for a fantastic future – we are sure it will be full of fun and happiness.
